Psychological Impact of Concussions
The awareness of sports related concussions has increased dramatically in recent years. A part from the initial "bell ringing" physical symptoms such as headaches, sensitivity to light, and fatigue can hinder an athlete's confidence in returning-to-play. Often the psychological impact of concussions go largely unnoticed because the physical symptoms are more apparent.
